What does "Arcana" mean?
The word “arcanum” (plural: “arcana”) comes from the Latin arcanus, meaning "secret" or "mysterious." It entered the English language as the Dark Ages gave way to the Renaissance. “Arcana” came to represent the hidden knowledge and deeper truths being explored during this period of transformation.
