Kristin’s passion for dance began in childhood, sparked by a love of classic musicals like Singin’ in the Rain and Kiss Me Kate. She started her training with ballet and tap at DC37 and continued at the Henry Street Settlement’s Abrons Arts Center, where she added jazz and flamenco to her repertoire.
Her journey into belly dance began when she discovered classes at her dance school—she was instantly hooked. Since then, she’s performed in productions like 1001 Nights and Love Stories on Death Row (in both English and Spanish), danced with Whimsical Hips under Carol Tandava, and showcased flamenco-bellydance fusion for Global Dance Day.
Kristin currently performs with NYC troupe Witchmaste and is certified in SharQui: The Bellydance Workout and Raq the Barre. She continues expanding her skills, studying Rajasthani, classical Indian, and Bhangra dance with the Lalitha Dance Company. In 2021, she joined the international company Raks al Zahra.
